As with every year when it comes to cars, we make a list of some of the biggest changes in the car industry. Today we will be writing about the top selling cars in the United Kingdom in the year 2017. This list is made up from the national statistics and does not contain any biased preference about our personal favorites when it comes to car brands.
Starting the list in the first place we have the new ford fiesta that has been topping the charts at 75,814 registrations. Ford has been cementing their stop as Britain’s most loved car for a couple of years now. In fact, we can safely say that Ford could have just skipped making the 2017 line and it would have still won the charts with the 2016 model. As a mini car, it has been widely accepted in Britain as one of the most cost-effective cars.
Not far behind the Fiesta is another class of the Ford brand. The Ford Focus is in second place with its 57,526 registrations.
The style has not changed for the Focus line for a couple of years, but its as they say, if something is not broken don’t fix it. The Focus has been a favorite of the younger generation for several years down the line and it looks like it might stay in the second spot in the following year.
Another amazing car that has been a solid choice for every British citizen is the Volkswagen Golf. The Volkswagen Golf comes in third with its 57,018 registrations and its one of the favorite car designs by both the younger generation and the older at the same time. Its slick design and comfortable drive experience will definitely place the Gold in the top 5 spot every year.
The first car coming from outside of Europe and dominating in several countries is the famous Nissan Qashqai. With 53,197 registrations it comes in the fourth place. We can’t wait to see how this car performs next year and if there will be some change in its unique design.
A car brand that has been present for several years in the UK the Vauxhall Corsa comes in the fifth place with 46,600 registrations. The Corsa was in the second place last year and this year it was pushed down to the fifth which just shows how many new and amazing cars we get every year.
